The Chameleon Plant Houttuynia cordata, also known as fish mint, fish leaf, rainbow plant, chameleon plant, heart leaf, fish wort is a great addition to water gardens! The Chameleon Plant is one of the most popular ground covers around. It is an extremely hardy ground cover and easy to grow. Being similar in shape to English Ivy, it features boldly variegated leaves of red, pink, white, green, and yellow with a plant height of 15” when full grown. Can be planted bare root or in pots of pea gravel below water line, in waterfalls or in the ground next to the Pond. Loves sun & shade.
Yellow Iris Gorgeous grown at the edge of a pond. The bright yellow blooms of this water-loving iris appear in late spring, while its pretty, swordlike leaves can be enjoyed well into fall. Great in a water garden or alongside a pond, it can even be grown in water up to 5" deep. Yellow Flag is also tolerant of drier soil, as long as the soil is not permitted to dry out during spring or summer. The 4" blooms draw butterflies to the landscape. Loves sun & shade

Green leaves and bright purple petals, the Water Hyacinth flower is great at competing with algae over excess pond nutrients, creating a terrific spawning area for the pond fish.. Watercress has dark leafy greens with beautiful white flowers and is considered a perennial herb. This aquatic plant likes to grow in shallow water or moist soil. Grows 6 to 15 inches tall and can spread by climbing and putting down more roots. When planting watercress it is best to do so within a waterfall or stream bed. This is because it thrives in areas with lots of moving water. It also does great in floating planters or the edge of pond between rocks. Another benefit is keep string algae under control, displacing it by removing the nutrients that it needs for growth.
Creeping Jenny plant, is often referred to as Moneywort. Creeping Jenny has light green foliage & bright-yellow blooms. Fast grower. Stems cascade 18”+ which makes it great for traveling down waterfalls, around the pond edge, or in floating planters! So easy to grow, thriving in sun or shade, plants will cascade out of containers or spread to form a golden carpet around the pond.
